The state of fluidity between the body and mind is said to be that you are experiencing a state of Flow, where you are totally immersed in an activity and able to concentrate beyond the point of distraction. The state of flow is open to everyone, whether you're involved in a creative endeavor, physical activity, or even a simple daily job. Achieving a State of Flow is when you get sense of clarity in any task you are performing. When you're in relaxation mode, it's less likely to achieve the State of Flow, instead, you can accomplish it through more challenging and stimulating practices and concentration. If we challenge ourselves with a task, our mind reacts to its full capacity and if we are good at the task and enjoy doing it, one can experience a State of Flow which leaves us satisfied and motivated. Achieving a flow state and being able to achieve focus on a smaller scale, is essential for accomplishment of goals. You actively take charge of events occurring in your life rather than sitting and reacting to external forces. There are some ways which can help you to be in that zone. • Do the things you Love – Performing an activity of your choice will fulfill the craving of your mind and allow you to achieve a State of Flow more easily. Task that we enjoy always seem a lot easier, regardless of how difficult they may me. • Engage in activities that you are good at – When you do an activity which you are skilled at it a lot easier than doing the task that you are not. Get someone else to do those. • Prioritize your Task – You need to focus on one task at a time to attain or get into the zone. Multitasking can be a distraction in achieving the State of Flow. It is not the same for all of us, some people peak in the morning and others at night. You might face failure at first but learn from your failures and adjust accordingly. Creating a flow state is something that is high on my value list, as allows me to focus on a particular aspect that I need to complete with absolute utilisation of time and energy and with unsurpassed concentration. I have a daily ritual that I follow that allows me to enter this zone state and increase my productivity with such intensity and clarity.
